Verano and shelf luxury sport sedan exclusively with four cylinder engines, while the LaCrosse luxury sedan is equipped with a four-cylinder engine with eAssist technology, which uses an electric motor and battery to improve performance and economy combined fuel. The 2013 standard shelf, four-cylinder engine is equipped with eAssist. "Buick engine strategy are still being driven by smart power," said Tony DiSalle, vice president of marketing for Buick.
