Toyota Hilux (2012)

CARBARN | Toyota Hilux (2012) | Through the introduction of variable geometry turbo, 2wd, 2012 Toyota Hilux 2.5 D-4D models now benefit from an increase of 24 hp to power. Improving 2,494 cc, 16 valve, DOHC four-cylinder common-rail now develops 144 hp at 3,600 rpm and 343 Nm of torque at 2,000 rpm, for export, 2.5-liter four-wheel drive variants. The new injection nozzles provide more accurate, gas and improving the response performance. High performance turbo intercooler, not only increases power, but also improves emissions performance. A sophisticated control system optimizes the turbulent air-fuel mixture at low engine speeds, increasing torque availability without acceleration. And a cooler gas recirculation (EGR) optimizes temperature of the EGR gas to improve the performance of emissions. As a result of increased power 24 HP, 2012 Toyota Hilux 2.5 D-4D 2WD speed of 0-100 km / h in 14.1 seconds and reaches a top speed of 170 km / h.

Despite these significant increases in performance, fuel consumption in combined cycle has been reduced by 1.0 l/100 km to 7.3 l/100 km and CO2 emissions reduced by 26 g / km to just 193 g / km. Complementing this increase in power 2012 Toyota Hilux 2WD versions are now equipped with more robust frame design 4WD models. Both engine output torque effectively through a series of high-speed motor 2.5 D-4D 343 Nm between 1,600 and 2,800 rpm generate, manual engine versions of 3.0 liters of this correspondence between the figure of a further 1.400 - 3.400 rpm banda provide optimal performance at any speed in any terrain.

DLX models feature anti-lock brakes (ABS), a locking rear differential, power windows, remote door locking and electric heated door mirrors. The option package for Styling + DLX Double Cab adds a body-colored front bumper guards and wheel arches, wider tires and front fog lamps.
